2015 WHO 5-a-side venue ideas
All,

After the success of the past years from the hard work of many WHOers - we will of course be holding another tournament this year.
We raised over £1,000 again last year and were in the top 5% of fundraisers for JustGiving.

There was the discussion last year that a few of the regulars were travelling quite a long way to Southend each year so I am looking at the options for this year.
to ensure we have maximum attendance.

I'd like to make it more accessible for those in London and other surrounding areas - Southend is a bit of a shit journey at the best of times and sometimes prevents some of WHO's finest enjoying a little drink after.

SO. Suggestions:
Romford PlayFootball
Shoreditch
The Sandon School, Chelmsford (No bar but probably free and close to pubs)
Dagenham Goals

Any other suggestions?

I look forward to another year of abuse from you lovely bastards x

Chelmsford is probably as, if not more difficult than Southend for those travelling from London.

Shoreditch is an ideal location for me but I doubt you'll get it cheap and the pitches are very small.

Romford or Dagenham probably the best locations.

You'll be hard pressed to find a venue as good as Southend so just be prepared to compromise the facilities in favour of location

ROMFORD!...

Still, me and the other DRUIDS ain't played for months and months now!...

Need to get playing again as we surprised ourselves last year with how well we did but we've ventured back into alcoholism and drugs again now... :-(

Re: 2015 WHO 5-a-side venue ideas
Chelmsford isn't anywhere near as far away as Southend and only floated because we've used it before.

Romford is basically the same place.

OMM is right, we need the best mix of facilities alongside the most accessible place - hence asking you all nice and early.

Re: 2015 WHO 5-a-side venue ideas
Not too many other suggestions so far, leaning towards Romford as I think this will be the most accessible and much shorter for the Bushey and London lot.

I could defintely get a side out if this was at Romford.

Watford Power League?

Re: 2015 WHO 5-a-side venue ideas
How about Bushey's back garden? He won't even need to drag the Trophy out too far then before he puts it back at the end of the day.

Re: 2015 WHO 5-a-side venue ideas
Bushey - whilst we hugely appreciate the miles your boys have put in, the drop in numbers moving it there would not make it worthwhile.
